SAN JACINTO, CA (March 20, 2022) – Thursday night, Francisco Salgado died in a crash near Ramona Express Way and Warren Road.
 
The crash involving four vehicles happened at about 6:20 p.m. Moreover, it happened near Ramona Express Way and Warren Road, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
 
The investigators revealed that the truck driver hauling a small trailer drove east on Ramona Expressway. Then, the traffic stopped in front of him. As a result, he steered left onto westbound lanes to avoid crashing into the stopped vehicles. However, the truck driver crashed into a black Jeep Wrangler in front of him, a westbound Nissan Frontier, and a westbound white Jeep Wrangler.
 
Thus, firefighters extricated the truck driver and the white Wrangler driver from the wreckage. Then, they transported them to a hospital.
 
However, the 88-year-old truck driver Francisco Salgado later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the black Wrangler and Frontier drivers suffered no injuries in the crash.
 
At this time, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
