Palm Desert, CA (August 11, 2023) On Wednesday morning, Francisco Rojas, 48, was found dead after an auto-pedestrian crash near Country Club Drive.

Palm Desert sheriff deputies say that the hit-and-run collision happened around 10:16 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Country Club Drive near Barrington Drive.

Reports say that a pedestrian, Mr. Rojas, of Palm Desert was fatally struck by an unknown vehicle and was found dead at the roadway.

The Palm Desert Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the tragic hit-and-run collision from August 9.
