Pedestrian-Vehicle Collision on I-40 Kills 68 Year-Old Havasu Lake Resident
Needles, CA (February 24, 2023) On Saturday evening, 68 year-old Francisco Javier Acosta of Havasu Lake sustained fatal injuries after a pedestrian accident on Interstate 40.
CHP says that the pedestrian-vehicle collision happened at about 7:42 p.m. on eastbound I-40 near mile marker 145.
Moreover, reports say that a vehicle fatally struck Javier and officials pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The CHP-Needles office is investigating the fatal pedestrian-vehicle collision.
