Bakersfield Man Francisco Javier Hernandez Cruz Dead in Semi-Truck Accident on Highway 99

 
ROSEDALE, CA (April 28, 2021) – Tuesday, motorcyclist Francisco Hernandez Cruz, 33, died in a big rig crash on Highway 99 near Rosedale Highway.
 
The California Highway Patrol revealed that they received notice of a crash between a motorcycle and a semi-truck just before 6:30 PM.
 
Moreover, it happened on southbound Highway 99 north of Gilmore Avenue.
 
Apparently, the Kawasaki motorcycle rider made a turn that caused them to collide with a Freightliner trailer.
 
As a result, he was ejected from the motorcycle.
 
When the authorities arrived, they declared the Bakersfield man, Mr. Hernandez Cruz, deceased at the scene.
 
Also, crews responded to clear the area.
 
Furthermore, the authorities confirmed that all lanes have since reopened.
