21-Year-Old Bloomington Man Dies after Traffic Collision near Orange Street

BLOOMINGTON, CA (October 27, 2018) – A man was killed Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash near Orange Street. The victim was later identified as 21-year-old Francisco Garcia Andrade, a resident of Bloomington.

As per reports, the incident took place at about 2:25 PM. A car, driven by the victim, was heading north on Cedar Avenue when it broadsided a southbound vehicle.

Andrade was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment and evaluation. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical staff. Meanwhile, it is unknown whether or not the other driver remained and cooperated with investigators.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
