Francisco Bautista Identified as Car Crash Victim on Alameda Street [Downey, CA]

42-Year-Old El Monte Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision near Lakewood Boulevard

 
DOWNEY, CA (August 3, 2018) – A man was killed Friday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash between Lakewood Boulevard and Brookshire Avenue. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office later identified the victim as 42-year-old Francisco Bautista of El Monte.
 
According to Downey police, the incident took place shortly before 4:00 PM. For unknown reasons, two vehicles collided on Alameda Street.
 
Paramedics and emergency personnel responded to the accident and pronounced Bautista dead on scene. No other injuries were reported by the authorities, and an investigation is ongoing at this time to determine the events that led to the fatal crash.
 
No additional information has been disclosed to the public, as officials try to identify possible contributing factors.
