Bakersfield, CA (September 11, 2021) – On Friday, two passengers, Francisca Pineda, 62, and Maria Oliveros Gonzalez, 68, died in a head-on crash on Willow Springs Road.
The fatal crash took place before 3:15 p.m. on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road, north of Backus Road.
Officers said a Honda Odyssey and Hyundai Sonata collided head-on in the accident.
Moreover, emergency personnel pronounced two passengers dead at the scene.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the fatal Willow Springs Road crash. Even so, authorities released the names of the deceased, Mojave resident Francisca Pineda and Palmdale woman Maria Oliveros Gonzalez.
