People Hospitalized in Madera County Car Crash
Madera County, CA (March 16, 2022) – On Tuesday, people were sent to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 145.
The Madera crash happened minutes after 10:30 a.m. on the bridge that crosses Cottonwood Creek.
Officers said that a driver of a northbound sedan drifted off the road and struck a guard rail. Then, the vehicle bounced back into the southbound lane and slammed into an oncoming van.
The impact of the collision split the sedan in two. Half of it fell into the creek.
The sedan’s driver and his female passenger both incurred major injuries. Paramedics rushed them to a local hospital.
Moreover, six family members were traveling in the van when the crash took place. The paramedics took two of them to the hospital with major injuries. Also, another two complaints of pain. Luckily, the baby and a child in the van did not suffer injuries from the accident.
