Injuries in Two-Vehicle Car Crash in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, CA (February 10, 2019) – Sunday night, two vehicles were involved in an accident causing four people to be injured on the 1 Freeway near Vandenberg Village.
Spokesperson Dave Zaniboni from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department stated the accident occured at 8:30 PM in the intersection of the 1 Freeway and Santa Lucia Canyon Road.
Police and paramedics arrived shortly after the reported incident. One of the victims was seriously injured and had to be transported to the Marion Regional Medical Center by the American Medical Response team.
Three other occupants were taken to the Lompoc Medical Center for injuries. The identity nor medical status on the victims has been disclosed.
No more details surrounding the accident have been disclosed to the public.
