Person Pinned in Big Rig Crash on Highway 18
Auburn, WA (April 08, 2021) – On Tuesday, at least four were injured in a big rig crash on Highway 18.
Reports said the semi-truck struck several vehicles and rolled over an embankment before finally landing in a small body of water.
Right away, rescuers worked and got the person out of the semi-truck, who was trapped in the truck in the water.
Furthermore, the person was pinned upside down inside of the big rig.
Luckily, crews were able to free him from the semi-truck.
Moreover, at least four people sustained non-serious injuries in the accident.
Officers blocked the right lane eastbound on State Route 18 and the on-ramp will be closed for an extended period of time.
Meanwhile, authorities said it appears that brake failure led to the crash.
