35-Year-Old Foster Williams Dead After Crash on 44th Street and Van Buren in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (September 20, 2024) – Early Friday morning, 35-year-old Foster Williams died in a crash on 44th Street and Van Buren.
Reportedly, a deadly crash involving a pedestrian temporarily shut down a busy street near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
Police have identified the victim as 35-year-old Foster Williams.
The collision occurred near 44th Street and Van Buren, just north of the airport, at around 5 a.m. Officers arrived to find Williams lying on the road with severe injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, Williams was in the westbound lanes of Van Buren when two vehicles struck him. Both drivers remained at the scene.
During the investigation, Van Buren Street was closed between 40th and 44th Streets.
