Foresthill Road Head-On Collision Kills Driver and Injures Multiple People [Placer County, CA]

Mother and 3 Children Injured in Fatal Accident on Portofino Drive

Placer County, CA (July 13, 2022) On Monday, a driver of a Camry died while a mother and her 3 children were hospitalized after a head-on collision at Foresthill Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal accident between a Toyota Camry and an MDX SUV happened at the intersection with Portofino Drive.

Reports say that officials found the Toyota dead at the scene, they were the only occupant of the Camry. Meanwhile, a female driver in the SUV and her 3 children sustained injuries.

Paramedics transported the mother and her children to the hospital.

Moreover, officials closed the area and shut down traffic in both directions for 3 hours.

Authorities are investigating the incident and have not released further details about the head-on collision.
