1 Airlifted in Hesperia Traffic Crash
Hesperia, CA (January 2, 2023) – A driver was seriously injured following a Main Street fiery crash on New Year’s Eve.
The authorities received the crash report at 10:32 p.m. on December 31, 2023, between Fifth Avenue and Seventh Avenue wherein a Ford Focus and a Honda sedan were involved.
The San Bernardino County Firefighters and the Hesperia Police Department officers located the vehicles with major damage and one of them was fully engulfed in fire.
Immediately, rescuers took the Ford driver to Hesperia Airport by ambulance, then, they airlifted the driver to a trauma center.
Officers said the Ford passenger was not injured in the collision.
Moreover, the Honda occupants were not seriously injured and were able to get out of the vehicle before it became fully engulfed in flames.
The Hesperia Police Department is investigating the cause of this traffic crash. They do not consider drugs and/or alcohol as factors in this accident.
