Fontana, CA (October 19, 2021) – Yesterday, a Fontana Police officer suffered injuries in a Sierra Avenue DUI crash.

At approximately 1 a.m., officers responded to a non-injury DUI crash at the intersection of Sierra Avenue and Sierra Lakes Parkway.

While the authorities were investigating the scene, another vehicle rear-ended a marked police vehicle blocking traffic for the original crash.

Two officers and a tow truck driver were sent to the center median into oncoming traffic. One of the officers sustained a leg injury.
