Flipped Vehicle Crash on Interstate 44 Injures 2 People [Wichita Falls, TX]

Wichita Falls PD Investigates Solo-Vehicle Accident on I-44

Wichita Falls, TX (March 17, 2023) – On  Thursday morning, a vehicle crash on Interstate 44 sent 2 people to the hospital. 

WFPD says that the solo-vehicle accident happened in the 500 block of I-44 in Wichita Falls.

Reports say that the driver of a northbound 2001 Camry attempted to changed lanes but over corrected when another vehicle was heading their way. 

Consequently the Camry struck the inside of the median wall, spunned and flipped and ended up on its roof.

Authorities say that a 20-year-old woman and 29-year-old man were the occupants of the Camry. Both patients were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
