Fatal Morning Collision on Highway 145 in Five Points
FIVE POINTS, CA (May 13, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a two-car crash Monday morning in Five Points.
The crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. on Highway 145 at South Lake Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Chevrolet Malibu and a black Ford Mustang collided, sending one of the cars off the roadway. Several other vehicles stopped to assist.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and found three people injured from the crash. Life-saving aid were performed on the patients, however, at least one of them did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A coroner’s personnel was notified to pick up the victim’s remains.
Further details, including the identity of the deceased, were not immediately available. Investigation of this fatal incident is still ongoing.
