Multi-Vehicle Crash at Highway 118 and Price Road in Somis Hurts 5 People
SOMIS, CA (October 08, 2019) — Five people suffered minor injuries in a crash at Highway 118 and Price Road in Somis Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in an agricultural area north of Camarillo at around 2:48 p.m. It involved a pickup truck and two cars which were heavily damaged after the crash.
One of the five people involved required extrication using the Jaws of Life. Three ambulances transported the injured patients to the hospital.
CHP officers closed Highway 118 in both directions between Center School Road and Aggen Road until 4:30 p.m.
