Officers Injured in Accident Near the Anti-Vaccine Mandate Protest
San Francisco, CA (November 12, 2021) – On Thursday, five people suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Golden Gate Bridge.
It was about 6 p.m. when the accident happened near the anti-vaccine mandate protest.
Investigators said a car struck two officers on the northbound lanes of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The emergency team took the officers to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.
Moreover, three Golden Gate Bridge personnel suffered minor injuries.
Officers said the accident was not related to the protest.
Apparently, a Ford Explorer crashed with a bridge sweeper. Then, the sweeper swerved into a bridge buffer truck which then struck the victims.
The authorities said it is unclear if the sweeper truck struck the Explorer or if the Explorer hit the sweeper truck.
Luckily, drivers of both vehicles did not suffer injuries in the accident.
Always pay attention whenever you are on the road. Do your best to avoid accidents. Also, make sure that you are following the correct driving speed.
Injuries in Pedestrian Accident
According to the United States Department of Transportation, there are approximately 300,000 merging accidents every year. It is therefore important to follow all the traffic laws to avoid these types of accidents.
“A common misconception is that personal injury lawyers don’t care. That is simply not true. Injury lawyers care about and want justice for their clients. We are driven by the desire to make our clients whole again,” says Steve Baric of Sweet Lawyers, an attorney practicing for over 40 years.
Moreover, the most valuable step you can take in response to a vehicle crash is hiring a personal injury attorney. Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious car accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of a party.
