Five Injured in Chevrolet vs Honda Collision on West Monte Vista Avenue [Turlock, CA]

Turlock, CA (July 21, 2022) – On Friday, five people sustained injuries in a Chevrolet vs Honda collision on West Monte Vista Avenue.

The traffic collision took place at about 7:09 p.m. at the intersection with North Golden State Boulevard.

When the authorities arrived at the scene, they located the Chevrolet SUV and a Honda coupe. The Chevrolet SUV flipped on its roof.

The paramedics say three people sustained minor injuries and two incurred moderate injuries. Some of them were stuck and were extricated by firefighters.

They did not say how many were taken to the hospital and which vehicle they were in.

Moreover, both of the vehicles incurred moderate damage and were inoperable due to the collision.

According to the officers,  the Chevrolet SUV was turning northbound turn onto North Golden State Boulevard from eastbound West Monte Vista Avenue.

The southbound Honda coupe broadsided the Chevrolet in the middle of the intersection. The Chevrolet then overturned.

In the meantime, officers are investigating which vehicle had the right of way at the intersection when the collision took place.
