Person Airlifted in Crash on Miles Avenue
Indio, CA (January 15, 2022) – On Friday, five people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Miles Avenue.
Officers received the crash report at 4:44 p.m. at the intersection with Heritage Palms Drive.
When the responders arrived at the scene, they located two vehicles with five victims. They extricated them from their vehicles.
Reports said three of the victims suffered major injuries, while the two others sustained moderate injuries.
Immediately, the paramedics took them to a hospital, with one taken by helicopter.
Officers are investigating this collision.
