Fresno, CA (April 16, 2024) On Saturday evening, a fiery vehicle crash on Grangeville Boulevard claimed the lives of a man and a woman.

According to the CHP, the fatal crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Grangeville Boulevard, west of 25th Avenue.

Reports say that a westbound white 2014 Ford Fusion failed to make a curve and crashed into the metal guardrail. Officials say that the Ford burst into flames after the crash.

Officials say that the female driver and her male passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are investigating the fatal solo-vehicle crash and have not released further details about the incident.
