Antelope Valley, CA (October 21, 2024) On Sunday morning, a fiery vehicle crash on Avenue K claimed the lives of 2 people.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD), the fatal crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Avenue K and 62nd Street West.

Reports say that a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in the Quartz Hill area of Antelope Valley resulted in two fatalities.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene but did not transport anyone to the hospital.

The vehicle, which was speeding westbound on Avenue K, lost control, hit a center median, and collided with a metal pole, causing the fiery crash. The genders of the victims were not immediately known. Further details are still pending.
