1 Person Dead in Sacramento Auto Accident near Southport Parkway and Silverwood Road

SACRAMENTO, CA (January 21, 2024) – Saturday morning, a fiery vehicle crash near Southport Parkway and Silverwood Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:00 a.m. near Southport Parkway and Silverwood Road.

According to the West Sacramento Police, the incident involved a vehicle that rolled over for still unknown reasons and erupted into flames.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that one occupant of the vehicle died at the scene. Then, paramedics transported one other occupant of the vehicle to a hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
