SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 14, 2023) – Saturday night, a fiery motorcycle wreck on Loop 410 and Highway 151 killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on Loop 410 and Highway 151.

According to Sheriff Javier Salazar, a deputy spotted a motorcyclist traveling at a high rate of speed and recklessly. Then, the deputy decided to pursue the motorcyclist without activating his siren but eventually lost track of the suspect.

Moments later, the motorcyclist collided with a least one other vehicle and the bike erupted into flames.

Moreover, responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Officers said that the motorcyclist may have been wanted for assault.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
