The crash occurred shortly after midnight on June 28 along the 4100 block of Carrington Street, according to the police.

Surveillance footage shared with NBC Bay Area captured the car hitting a curb, launching into the air, and bursting into flames upon landing.

Responding officers discovered the overturned car abandoned and several parked vehicles damaged. The police determined that the driver had fled the scene before their arrival.
