Reports said that the incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. on State Route 51 and Thunderbird Road.
According to the Phoenix Police, the incident involved a van and two pickup trucks, including one pickup that erupted into flames after the collision.
Moreover, responders transported two people, including one with serious injuries, to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, the crash closed Thunderbird Road in both directions but has long since reopened.
