Fiery Crash on Interstate 80 Results in Injuries [Rodeo, CA]

Rodeo, CA (June 23, 2023) On Sunday morning, a fiery crash on Interstate 80 left a person with moderate injuries.

CHP says that the disastrous vehicle crash happened around 12:51 a.m. on West I 80 a quarter mile from the Willow Offramp.

Reports say that the crash involved several vehicles, including a gasoline tanker. Rescuers rescued a person from a burning vehicle.

Authorities closed Westbound freeway during the rescue process and fuel from the leaking tanker was covering the right lanes.

CHP is investigating the fiery crash on Interstate 80.
