Mother and 2 Children Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision on North Arizona Boulevard

Coolidge, AZ (September 8, 2022) On Wednesday, 53-year-old Fernando Silva was arrested in a DUI Crash that injured a mother and her 2 children on North Arizona Boulevard.

According to Coolidge Police the 2-vehicle collision happened at around 11:23 near a McDonald’s parking lot on North Arizona Boulevard.

Reports say that Silva pulled out in front of a southbound silver compact car. The collision caused injuries to a mother and her 2 children.

Medics says that the female driver sustained two open fractures to one of her wrists and ankle. Meanwhile, her children sustained “no visible injuries.”

Furthermore, paramedics transported both mother and her children to Banner Desert Medical Center.

Officials arrested Fernando Silva on charges of aggravated DUI (drug) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
