Fernando Gayton Identified as Victim in Fresno Hit and Run by S. Pickford and E. Oleander Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (May 4, 2021) – On Monday, Fernando Gayton, 27, died in a hit-and-run crash near Pickford and Oleander Avenues.
 
According to Fresno Police Department, the accident took place at around 5:00 p.m.
 
Moreover, it occurred near S. Pickford and E. Oleander Avenues.
 
Reports revealed that a black Mercedes struck a southbound vehicle. Then, the suspect vehicle fled the crash scene.
 
Furthermore, responders attempted life-saving measures, to no avail. Afterward, paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
The deadly hit and run is under active investigation.
 
Police identified the victim of the fatal collision as Fernando Gayton, a Fresno resident.
 
They later identified the suspect as Ronnie White, 43.
 
Authorities are requesting the public’s help in locating the suspect.
