7th-Grader Dies in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Amigos Drive and Madsen Avenue

Parlier, CA  (February 10, 2023) – Friday evening, 13-year-old Fernanda Perez-Almada died in a crash on Amigos Drive and Madsen Avenue.

The fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Parlier happened around 6:20 p.m. on February 10.

Parlier Police said Perez-Almada was hit by a car while walking home from school.

The victim received life-saving care, but she died at the crash scene.

The driver stayed at the scene and called 911 for help.

Investigators say drugs or alcohol are not believed to have been involved.
