Female Rider Dies in Suspected DUI Crash on Beach Boulevard [Stanton, CA]

Stanton, CA (June 23, 2022) – On Tuesday night, a female motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries in a suspected DUI crash on Beach Boulevard.

It was past 9:30 p.m. when the fatal incident took place at Starr Street.

According to the investigators, the female rider was northbound on Beach Boulevard when pickup truck male driver made a U-turn along southbound lane which resulted to the collision.

Officers added that the rider was in the second lane from the left on the four-lane street and the intersection does not have traffic signals.

Immediately, the paramedics responded to the scene and took the victim to a hospital but she died. Officers withheld her identity pending notification of kin.

Moreover, the authorities arrested the male driver on suspicion of driving under the influence causing bodily injury.
