Police Seek the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Fifth Street and K Street in Oxnard 

Oxnard, CA (March 2, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a female pedestrian sustained severe injuries in a crash on Fifth Street and K Street.

The crash in Oxnard happened at around  2:30 p.m. on March 1.

Oxnard Police said the victim was hit as she crossed Fifth, walking northbound in the crosswalk at K Street.

The driver then immediately fled the crash scene. 

EMS took the woman to Ventura County Medical Center and is currently in critical condition suffering major injuries to her head and lower extremities.

Police believed that the hit-and-run vehicle is a BMW.

Further investigation into this collision is underway.
