Police Investigate a Hit-And-Run Crash on East Division Street in National City
National City, CA (November 19, 2020) – Wednesday night, a female pedestrian sustained serious injuries after a hit-and-run crash on East Division Street east of Highland Avenue.
The National City accident, east of Highland Avenue, happened just before 9 p.m. on November 18.
The National City Police reports the woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street on East Division Street.
Moreover, the impact threw her at about 55 feet before landing back in the roadway.
Witnesses of the incident say the driver stopped and looked at the woman before driving off while others said the driver never stopped.
Medics then transported the woman to the UC San Diego Medical Center with serious injuries.
