Female Pedestrian Dies in Blacow Road Accident [Fremont, CA]

Royal Palm Drive Fatal Traffic Collision

Fremont, CA (December 6, 2022) – On Friday, a 41-year-old female pedestrian from Fremont sustained fatal injuries in a Blacow Road accident.

The fatal accident took place at about 7:42 a.m. near Royal Palm Drive. 

Responding officers located the pedestrian on the road with major injuries. Immediately, the paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital where she died.

According to the investigators, the woman was on the southeast corner of Blacow Road waiting for the signal that she was free to walk across the street. The authorities said she started walking west on the crosswalk when the signal changed.

Sadly, she was struck by a vehicle as she was crossing. 

Moreover, the 43-year-old woman driving the vehicle remained on the scene and fully cooperated in the investigation. Officers said she showed no signs or symptoms of impairment.
