Driver Arrested in DUI Crash Near the Summit of Tiger Mountain
Issaquah, WA (June 29, 2022) – On June 27, past 8 p.m., a 27-year-old Maple Valley lost her life in a State Route 18 big rig crash.
Officers say a blue 2010 Ford Escape driven by a 31-year-old Enumclaw man collided with a disabled semi-truck near the summit of Tiger Mountain.
Sadly, the Escape’s female passenger died while the driver sustained injuries from the collision.
The paramedics rushed the driver to Overlake Medical Center.
Moreover, officers say the driver is facing charges of DUI and vehicular homicide. The authorities say the big rig driver did not sustain injuries from the DUI crash near the summit of Tiger Mountain.
