Officers Arrest Driver in Fatal Collision in the Mountain Detachment
Pierce County, WA (November 27, 2022) – On Saturday morning, a female passenger, 48, lost her life and the authorities arrested the driver, 43, in a 304th Street East DUI collision.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) received a report about a single-car crash in the 1200 block area in the Mountain Detachment.
When they arrived, the authorities discovered that the passenger had been ejected from the vehicle. The officers declared her dead at the scene.
They extricated the driver from the wreckage and rushed her to a nearby hospital with injuries.

Officers stated that the female driver will be booked into the Pierce County Jail for vehicular homicide as soon as she is released from the hospital.
