Female Driver Injured in Rear-End Crash on Martin Way E [Olympia, WA]

Woman Arrested in DUI Crash in Olympia

Olympia, WA (December 6, 2024) – A female driver was injured following a rear-end crash on Martin Way E late Wednesday night.

The two-vehicle crash happened before 10:45 p.m. in the 4300 block area.

Investigators said traffic troopers saw a 32-year-old Oakville woman driving recklessly as she traveled through an intersection. 

Before the officer could turn on their emergency lights, the woman rear-ended another vehicle at a high speed.

As a result, the rear-ended vehicle spun around and rested on the curb.

The driver complained of back soreness but was not hospitalized.

Meanwhile, police arrested the Oakville woman on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Both vehicles involved in the collision suffered fairly extensive damage.
