Truck Kills Bicyclist in Crash on University Drive and Priest Drive
Tempe, AZ (February 5, 2022) On Thursday, a female bicyclist died after a truck struck her in a fatal accident on University Drive.
Police say that the crash happened at about 4:40 p.m. along the area of 10th Place south of University Drive and Priest Drive.
Rescuers say that they found a female victim with severely hurt and took her to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Moreover, authorities have not released information about the victim except that she is about 20 years old.
Additionally, police say that the driver was still on the scene and cooperated with the investigations.
Furthermore, impairment is not a factor in the crash, and it is not clear if the driver will face charges.
Police are still conducting an investigation.
