San Jose Bicycle Crash Results in Fatality
San Jose, CA (March 13, 2024) – On Thursday, a female bicyclist died following a Hamilton Avenue collision.
It was about 6:43 p.m. when a motorcycle and a bicycle collided in the 4400 block of Hamilton Ave.
Investigators said an adult male rider on a 2018 black Kawasaki Ninja was eastbound when he collided with the adult female bicyclist who was northbound on the same road outside of any marked crosswalks.
The medical team rushed the bicyclist to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Reports say the victim was later stabilized but died on Sunday.
Moreover, the motorcycle driver remained on scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Officers said that alcohol and drugs did not play a role in the collision.
