2 Hurt in Dent County Auto Accident on Highway 32 and Highway 19
DENT COUNTY, MO (October 29, 2024) – Saturday, Felton Metcalf sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 32 and Highway 19.
The incident happened at an intersection of Highway 32 and Highway 19 in Dent County.
According to reports, 42-year-old Metcalf drove a 2011 Cadillac CTS eastbound through the intersection.
Records indicate that Metcalf ran a red light at the intersection, colliding with a 2014 Ford Expedition traveling southbound. Metcalf sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital by MU Air Care.
One person in the Ford suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Salem Memorial Hospital by Salem EMS.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol noted that both individuals in the Ford were wearing seatbelts, while Metcalf was not.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
