LONG BEACH, CA (October 8, 2023) – Friday night, 51-year-old Felix Castro died in a devastating hit-and-run crash on Orange Avenue.

The incident happened at about 7:00 p.m. on Orange Avenue and Banner Drive.

According to reports, as the Long Beach resident crossed westbound across southbound lanes of Orange Avenue, outside a marked or unmarked crosswalk, a vehicle hit him and fled the scene.

Meanwhile, officers reopened the scene and declared Castro dead at the scene.
