Felix Alvarez and 2 Others Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Central Avenue [Ceres, CA]

3 Hospitalized in Ceres Auto Accident on Central Avenue

 
CERES, CA (January 19, 2022) – Tuesday morning, Felix Alvarez and two more people sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Central Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Tom Olsen, the incident happened at around 4:50 a.m. on Central Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound Nissan sedan struck the center of the left side of a Dodge Ram pickup. Apparently, the pickup drove out of an orchard and into the path of the sedan when the crash happened.
 
The force of the crash sent the Dodge onto the roof of the sedan. Then, the Dodge driver fled the scene after the incident.
 
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the Nissan driver, 29-year-old Felix Alvarez, trapped inside the vehicle. Then, paramedics transported Alvarez to a hospital with major injuries.
 
Furthermore, officials confirmed that there were passengers inside the pickup when the incident happened. 43-year-old Amy Hernandez sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, 45-year-old John Johnson suffered no injuries. Also, 42-year-old Holly Patrick sustained head lacerations in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to call CHP Officers Aaron Norseen or Blake Mitchell at 209-545-7440.
