Pedestrian Feliberto Romero Ramirez Killed in Accident on FM 493 [Donna, TX]

Donna, TX (September 12, 2024) – 72-year-old Feliberto Romero Ramirez has died in a pedestrian accident on FM 493 Wednesday morning.

The fatal accident happened at 6:50 a.m. at the intersection with Hernandez Road.

Investigators said a Weslaco ISD school bus struck the pedestrian while he was walking eastbound on the south side of Hernandez Road. Sadly, Feliberto Romero Ramirez, was killed in the accident.

Meanwhile, the Weslaco Independent School District said the involved school bus was not carrying students at the time of the pedestrian accident.

The school bus who was not injured, stopped and rendered aid to the victim.
