2 Hospitalized after Car Falls into Water at Monterey Fisherman’s Wharf #2
MONTEREY, CA (June 20, 2019) – Emergency responders rescued a father and his daughter after their car plunged into Monterey Fisherman’s Wharf #2, Thursday evening.
According to the Monterey Fire Department, the incident happened at about 8:00 PM. The man accidentally put the car in drive and hit the gas. Then, their vehicle ended up over the edge and plunged into the water.
Monterey Fire and bystanders successfully rescued the occupants of the vehicle. As a precaution, a ground ambulance transported the victims to a hospital for evaluation. Authorities did not provide updates on the victims’ current conditions.
