Deadly Shasta County Crash on Highway 299 near Moose Camp Road
SHASTA COUNTY, CA (October 17, 2020) – Friday afternoon, a two-vehicle accident on Highway 299 near Moose Camp Road led to a fatality.
The accident happened just before 2:00 p.m. in the Montgomery Creek area. Meanwhile, the CHP confirmed that it took place on Highway 299 East near Moose Camp Road.
Furthermore, the CHP revealed that the crash was between a white pickup and a small blue car.
According to reports, the truck drove into the oncoming lane and struck the car. Afterward, the truck went off the road and struck a tree.
