CHP Investigates Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Trinidad

Trinidad, CA (September 22, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, CHP responded to a fatal crash involving three vehicles on Highway 101.

The fatal crash happened just before 3 p.m. on September 22, near Westhaven Drive.

CHP said the collision involved a red Ford Mustang, a small sedan, and another vehicle that was not described. 

Reportedly, one party was trapped inside one of the involved vehicles. An air ambulance was requested but was canceled after the fatality was confirmed. Another patient sustained moderate injuries.

No other information is immediately available.

Further investigation into this crash is underway.
