Deadly Mountain View Auto Accident on State Route 85 near Evelyn Avenue

 
MOUNTAIN AVENUE, CA (January 1, 2023) – Saturday morning, a crash on State Route 85 near Evelyn Avenue led to a fatality.
 
The incident occurred at 1:57 a.m. in the northbound lanes of State Route 85 near the Evelyn Avenue off-ramp.
 
At about 2:26 a.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert which closed some northbound lanes of SR 85.
 
At 4:51 a.m., the road way cleared and all lanes have since reopened.
 
Meanwhile, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
