Deadly San Jose Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 near Airport Parkway

 
SAN JOSE, CA (August 26, 2021) – Wednesday night, a 5-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Airport Parkway led to a fatality.
 
The incident happened just after 5:00 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 near Airport Parkway
 
Reports confirmed that the crash involved three vehicles and two motorcycles.
 
As a result, the authorities diverted the traffic off of Highway 101 to southbound CA 87.
 
Before 8:00 p.m., the authorities reopened one lane. Meanwhile, the right and center lanes remained unavailable.
 
Due to the crash, the authorities advised motorists to expect delays and use alternate routes.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
