Jesus Jimenez Hernandez Arrested for DUI in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101

Santa Rosa, CA (February 20, 2022) On Saturday, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in a DUI Crash on Highway 101.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the fatal DUI crash happened around 4 a.m. just south of River Road.

The pedestrian died at the scene after a Honda Pilot driven by 29-year-old Jesus Jimenez Hernandez struck him while he was walking in the lanes of traffic.

After the collision, Hernandez stopped and pulled to the right shoulder of the road.

Meanwhile, officers determined he was impaired during the incident and arrested Hernandez.
