2 People Dead in Houston Traffic Accident on State Highway 6 and Briar Forest Drive

HOUSTON, TX (November 26, 2024) – Sunday night, a fatal wrong-way crash on State Highway 6 and Briar Forest Drive killed two people.

The incident happened at around 11:40 p.m. at Southbound State Highway 6 and Briar Forest Drive.

According to the Houston Police, a northbound white Crown Victoria traveling on the southbound lanes collided head-on with a black Mercedes.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the Crown Victoria and a passenger of the Mercedes, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver and front seat passenger of the Mercedes to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, officers said that a third vehicle, a Toyota, struck the Mercedes after the first crash, but no additional injuries were reported.

The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.

Due to limited information, the Houston Police continued investigating the crash.
